Wednesfield born motorcyclist dies at 94

A Wednesfield born track racer who lived in New Invention for most of his life and won national acclaim after being dubbed “The wizard of Willenhall” has died aged 94.

Don Evans became a legend in motorcycle racing circles because of his daredevil style and ability and won a host of awards during a glittering career that stretched two decades.
