Down the at the “bottom shops” (anyone local to Ashmore Park will know what that means for everyone else  it’s  the larger of Ashmore Park’s shopping precincts) is a craft store. When I was little I always knew it as “the wool shop”  as that was where my Nan used to get her knitting supplies – and for years it was really called “Prima Crafts”,  but not any more….

… In the last few months it has welcomed a new owner Lyndsey Turner and with her comes a new name “Lora Crafts”.

It will still be stocking the wool I remember going in to buy as a child and most of the usual craft related items but Lyndsay will also be hunting down, and stocking, a large range of new lines – and  holding classes and regular craft events to show everyone how to get the most out of them.

To celebrate the festive season and to encourage you to get your crafty fingers out Lyndsay is offering all WV11 readers a 10% discount – all you need to do is drop by the shop and mention our website when you make a purchase.

For more information about the shop and its stock, for card tutorials and much more visit Lora Crafts blog www.loracrafts.blogspot.com/

About the Author

I have nearly always lived in Wednesfield, I moved away briefly but missed the sense of community and so swiftly moved back! I honestly believe Wednesfield has more to offer than the residents often give it credit for and wanted to do something to redress the balance of negativity around where we live. Working for a media company using the internet and social media as a marketing tool I had the skills and passion to help set up WV11.co.uk so did!
