A Securicor van was today held up in an armed robbery at the Tesco Express on the corner of Linthouse Lane and Lichfield Road, Wednesfield.

The guard, who was emptying a stand alone cash machine in the store’s car park was approached shortly after 11:30am by two youths on scooters brandishing a shotgun.
