Emma Reynolds gains early promotion

Wolverhampton North East Labour MP, Emma Reynolds, has been promoted to the opposition front bench in Parliament.

Wolverhampton North East Labour MP, Emma Reynolds, has been promoted to the opposition front bench in Parliament. She will be a shadow junior Foreign Office Minister working in Yvette Cooper’s team.

Emma has a long interest in foreign affairs, having worked abroad for many years and as a Special Adviser at the Foreign Office in the last Government. She speaks several foreign languages – French, Spanish and Italian.

Emma said: “I am delighted to be promoted by our new leader, Ed Miliband, to the Labour front bench. It is a great privilege to work with the Shadow Foreign Secretary, Yvette Cooper and her team in holding the Government to account in this crucial area.”
