Update 5th Oct: The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious and Police have handed responsibility of the case over to the coroner.

A man’s body has been discovered in Ashmore Park this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the back of the ‘bottom shops’ on Griffiths Drive at around 4:30pm this afternoon (4th Oct) to reports of man’s body being found.
The death is being treated as unexplained at this stage and enquiries are ongoing. We will publish further information when we have it.
