Wolverhampton City Council are consulting with residents and users of the Park on Ashmore Park and are very keen to hear the views local people, including young parents.

A display will be in The Hub at Ashmore Park from 27th July – 14th August  to collect any residents comments for the City Public Realm team

There are a number of options on the table already including;

  • To Install fencing around the children’s play area
  • Improvements to the children’s play area
  • Improvements to the BMX track
  • Pathway and access improvements to the Park.

Although they are very eager to hear any other suggestions you may have.

A group or local parents have already set up a Facebook Group to discuss the park – if you want to join their conversation get online here

About the Author

I have nearly always lived in Wednesfield, I moved away briefly but missed the sense of community and so swiftly moved back! I honestly believe Wednesfield has more to offer than the residents often give it credit for and wanted to do something to redress the balance of negativity around where we live. Working for a media company using the internet and social media as a marketing tool I had the skills and passion to help set up WV11.co.uk so did!
