Each summer the City of Wolverhampton Show brings the flavour of the country into the city when the West Park is transformed into a family fun filled weekend. Admission is free, open from 11am till 6pm both days.

Attractions will include a non stop arena show, Giant Funfair, trade stalls, Sealed Knott, National Farmers Union, Craft Fayre, Black Country Fuchsia Show, – and much more to be confirmed, there really is something for everybody!!

The Main Arena Show starts at 12 noon opened by the New Park Village Cheerleaders. 

Gerard Naprous & the Devil’s Horsemen.

Gerard grew up in St.Cyr s/s Dourdan near Paris where from an early age he recognized a natural understanding and affinity with horses which enabled him to train them for any task.

30 years in the Film and Show Business industries, has won him respect as one of Europe’s leading Horse masters, Stuntmen and Stunt Co-ordinators.

His outstanding displays of horsemanship have featured in many box office and TV hits, such as Sharpe V., Merlin, Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Rob Roy, Black Beauty, Braveheart, The Odyssey and Willow. The countless Commercials and Pop Videos are all tackled with the same degree of professionalism. So admired is his skill in training horses that three separate TV documentaries have been made on the subject.

Bob Hogg
Bob Hogg is a member of the international sheepdog society who travels throughout the country with his team of working sheepdogs and has earned himself an excellent reputation for his professional and highly entertaining displays, in which the dogs work sheep, geese and ducks.

Come along and meet Bob as he shares his unique training methods its great fun for the children, as they are invited into the arena whilst the dogs work the ducks around an obstacle course, down a slide and into a pool. Bob has appeared on many television shows including “Date my Daughter” and the “House of Tiny Tearaways”.

Motor Cycle Display – TBC

Big Pete, the world’s only real monster truck, at 16ft tall and 12ft wide, weighs 7.5tons.
Jumping 15ft in the air is an impressive sight for any event, crushing anything in its path, along with the Grim Reaper monster truck.

Both trucks working at the same time are guaranteed to leave a lasting impression on the crowds and not your arena surface, with amusing and informative commentary from the driver throughout the show.

James Dylan’s Stunt World
International Motorcycle Stunt Team. James Dylan formed Stuntworld in 1972, making them the most experienced Stunt Team in Great Britain. Stuntworld has performed all over the world including tours of Australia, the USA, the Middle East and the Far East. James Dylan has appeared on numerous television programmes and videos including “The World’s Most Amazing Videos”. He is also an official Stunt Trainer for Euro Disney and has been selected as stunt coordinator by many of today’s great stuntmen.
The Royal Artillery Parachute Display Team (The Black Knights).

The Royal Artillery’s freefall parachute team will close the event, they will exit the aircraft from 1500ft-1200ft and carry out several formations whilst deploying coloured smoke, reaching speeds of up to 120mph.  A great way to finish with a great day out.
