Ashmore Park pensioner in Cruise Ship rescue

A 78 year old great-grandmother from Ashmore Park was one of thousands caught up in the recent travel chaos caused by a volcanic eruption in Iceland, but all ended well for Betty Potts  when she was ‘rescued’ by a luxury cruise ship and given the trip of a lifetime courtesy of her travel operator!

Pair jailed for people trafficking

Two Wednesfield residents were this weekend found guilty of illegally trafficking people into the UK.
Deborah Minogue, aged 40, of Lawfred Avenue, Wednesfield, and Towfik Osman, 31, of Othello Road, Wednesfield were both sentenced to three years in prison.
