Do you know someone deserving?

If you want more details, or know of someone who deserves to be recognised and nominate them for a Award for their contribution to the Community please visit the Wednesfield & Fallings Park Website to download a form or collect a form from your local Community Centre. Alternatively contact Christine at the Local Neighbourhood Offices on 01902 551750.

The closing date for nominations is 12 February so be quick and get the Nomination form in.

The council acknowledge this by holding consultations where we are invited to give our opinions on things that matter to us and are happening in in our area.

So here are some dates for your diaries:

Public Consultations to discuss the future of Community Centres in our area

  • Long Knowle Community Centre Public Consultation – Tuesday 24th November 2009 3pm to 8pm
  • Ashmore Park Community Centre Public Consultation – Wednesday 25th November 2009 3pm to 8pm
  • Wednesfield Community centre Public Consultation – Wednesday 2nd December 2009 3pm to 8pm

In addition to these, a consultation will be taking place with residents of Wood End about plans to improve the open space  (the old play park) between Wood End Road Orchard Road & Bellamy Lane. This takes place at the Long Knowle Community Centre, Wood End Road, on Monday 26th November 2009 at 3pm & 6pm.
