Wednesfield U14 players sign for Port Vale

Two under 14 players from Wednesfield’s team were recently taken on trial. by Port Vale FC, both players Matthew Bartlett & Mathew Warner have now signed contracts with the club.

WMP: Police Get On-side with local youngsters

WOLVERHAMPTON police officers have been getting on-side with local youngsters through a community football tournament.

The event, which took place on Saturday 13 March, was organised by officers from the Ashmore Park neighbourhood police team, the Local Neighbourhood Partnership (LNP) and Wolverhampton City Council Youth Services.

Mitch Fammond was in fine form for Wednesfield, scoring four goals in a 5-2 win at Ledbury.
Stuart Skitt gave Wednesfield the lead with a penalty on 33 minutes before Fammond got his first, two minutes later.
