Wednesfield MP banned from driving

Wolverhampton North East MP Ken Purchase has been banned from driving for 28 days after being caught speeding for the fourth time in less then three years. The 70 year old, from Wednesfield was caught driving at 41mph – 11mph over the 30mph speed limit on the A34 Birmingham Road in Great Barr.

Pair jailed for people trafficking

Two Wednesfield residents were this weekend found guilty of illegally trafficking people into the UK.
