Funding available for Fallings Park community groups

Funding of up to £500 is available to community groups and clubs in the Fallings Park ward.

Fallings Park Community First Panel aims to support local community groups and clubs with funding the via the Community First funding programme.

Funding of up to £500 is available and the panel’s funding priorities are:

Priority No. 1:
Employment: To address high unemployment, lack of qualifications, lack of skills.

Priority No.2:
Children & Young People: To address ASB, facilities and activities available, as well as voluntary orgs such as Scouting, Guiding, and Cadets Etc.

Priority No. 3:
Health & Well being: To address high risk areas such as heart, lung, stroke, obesity diabetes. As well as Intergenerational exercise and community care for the elderly.

Priority No. 4:
Derelict land: To address issues with private property and absent landlords orphaned sites, bringing land back into community use, tackling environmental issues.

Closing Date for applications is 5 PM ON Thursday 24th May 2012
