Changes to Arriva’s no.19 bus service

Arriva have announced changes to their number 19 bus service from Walsall to Wolverhampton via Wednesfield.

Arriva have announced the following changes to their number 19 bus service from Walsall to Wolverhampton via Wednesfield as of 29th October, 2013:

Service 19: Walsall – Bloxwich – Wednesfield – Wolverhampton

Revised route and timetable.

Customers wishing to visit Wolverhampton’s popular markets to grab those bargains will be able to get there on service 19 – running up to every 30 minutes daytime Monday to Saturday between Walsall, Harden, Blakenall Heath, Bloxwich, New Invention, Wednesfield and Heath Town.

To ensure we continue to provide a regular, reliable and robust service the 19 will no longer serve the New Cross Hospital grounds and will instead serve bus stops situated on Wolverhampton Road near Main Entrance.

Inbound to Wolverhampton city centre the 19 will run along Broad Street then Lichfield Street, Victoria Street, Skinner Street, School Street, Salop Street, Peel Street to terminate in Pitt Street.

Buses leave Pitt Street (CK) along Cleveland Street (CF), Garrick Street, Market Street (AS) then Broad Street (AF) towards Wednesfield, Bloxwich and Walsall.

Sunday buses remain unchanged running up to every 30 mins daytime between Walsall and Bloxwich.

A promotional day return fare will be introduced between Field Road, Little Bloxwich/Blakenall Heath/Harden and Walsall from 28 October through to 30 November 2013 inclusive.
