West Midlands Police are investigating an incident where a 13-year-old girl was assaulted and robbed in Harlech Park, on Harlech Rd, Willenhall on Saturday 19th September.
The youngster was with a large group of young people in the park on Saturday afternoon. At around 3pm the girl was subjected to verbal abuse before being assaulted and robbed of her jewellery. The girl returned home and was taken to hospital for treatment to an arm injury.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident, and are particularly interesting in speaking to other youngsters who were in the park at the time. They are believed to be local to area.
