Wednesfield North Neighbourhood Police Team have joined the world of Social Media after launching a new Facebook group to provide the local community with information on what the team is doing in the area.
Wednesfield North Neighbourhood Police Team
The group is keen to point out that Facebook should not be used to report crime, however this is a great way of keeping up to date with what your local Police team is doing on a daily basis and the team have already outlined the latest Policing priorities, which were decided by residents at Monday’s PACT meeting.
You can join the Facebook group here.
New PACT priorities for Wednesfield North, chosen by the community are as follows:
1. Speeding vehicles in Kitchen Lane, Peacock Avenue, Linthouse Lane, Woodend Road, Fitzmaurice Road and Clanfield Ave.
2. Parking issues around local schools: Woodend Primary, St Alban’s Primary and Oak Meadow Primary.
Volunteers are needed for a community speedwatch scheme in the above named streets. You will be taught how to use speed detection equipment in order to measure the speed of motorists in these areas. Any resident who may be interested should contact Wednesfield Police Station on 0345 113 5000 Ext: 7872 6963
