Weest Midlands Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision which took place in Wednesfield yesterday afternoon.
The collision occurred at 1254hrs on Monday 13th September 2010 in Old Heath Road, Wednesfield, Wolverhampton.
A gold coloured Seat Leon hatchback car was in collision with a railway bridge. The driver, a 23yr old man from the Penn area of Wolverhampton was taken by Air Ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham with serious head injuries where he remains in a critical but stable condition.
Officers from the Collision Investigation Unit at Queens Road Police Station are investigating the matter and would like to speak with any witnesses. In particular officers would like to hear from the driver of light blue or grey Ford Focus who may have witnessed the collision.
