A Wednesfield fitness instructor has been accused of killing his best friend on New Year’s Day.
24-year-old Martin Gannon is charged with the manslaughter of former soldier Craig Glaze and is alleged to have attacked 25-year-old Mr Glaze at his house in Cromwell Road, Bushbury.
Gannon, a personal trainer at Wolverhampton Swimming and Fitness Centre in Wednesfield, lived next door to the victim. He was arrested nearby and charged on Monday night. The pair are understood to have known each other since the age of five.
UPDATE: Mr Gannon is set to stand trail on Manslaughter charges in July.
