Local residents start 28 bus route petition (updated)

Local residents have begun a petition to try and get the 28 bus service returned to it’s old route.

UPDATE: Due to public demand another local resident has set up an online petition for those unable to access Long Knowle Library, you can sign the online petition here.

Local residents have begun a petition to try and get the 28 bus service (formerly the 528) returned to it’s old route, which included servicing Bilston.

Public transport campaigner Alf Wardley has raised the petition which needs at least 1000 signatures.

The petition is available to sign at Long Knowle Community Library and Centre.

I think if a group were to run an official online petition it may achieve higher response than paper form. Fully support the petition though as I miss the roure & know the elderly community also depended on the service

i agree as people cant always get down to long knowle and would be easier for everyone to sign the petition on here!

I agree with the comments about being able to physically sign the petition! There should at least be opportunities at several different locations if one online can’t be arranged.
