Wolverhampton City Council Trading Standards has received four reports of doorstep salesmen calling on householders apparently to sell them loft insulation.
These callers have been very pushy in trying to gain entry to properties ‘ to inspect the loft area’. This has left some of the householders feeling intimidated.
It is not known if these are genuine callers although the do not appear to working for the reputable organisations operating in the area.
Householders are being asked to keep an eye out for these persons and contact Trading Standards with any information they may have as Trading Standards Officers would like to speak to these salesmen.
