Make:Shift is about finding new ideas and new ventures that communities can make happen for themselves.
The council, the police and voluntary sector agencies will lend some support if you need it…but the ideas will be yours to own and drive forward.
How Make-SHIFT works…
Make:Shift is an ‘unconference’ – the agenda’s set and the activities driven by the people there. No one tells you what to do. You just come with your ideas, your insights – and an open mind.
Last year’s Make:Shift event generated great ideas about free organic gardens, pop-up shops, boosting Wolverhampton’s online profile and helping people fill out confusing official forms.
What will this year bring? That’s entirely up to you!
When and where?
Make:Shift happens at Newhampton Arts Centre, Dunkley Street, Wolverhampton on Saturday 9 November 2013.
It’s free – and it’s open to anyone who lives in and cares about Wolverhampton – and who’s got the drive to see their ideas through.
So get involved and submit your ideas

One reply on “Make Shift – your chance to make a positive change.”
This has got me thinking once again about my idea of a book or ‘words’ festival. Pity I can’t make makeshift to discuss it, but I might find some way to be involved. wondering if i could somehow skype in a chat about it from 8mm cine club in Leicester during the day?
