Despite taking a battering nationally and losing their leader Ed Miliband, it was a strong result for the Labour party in Wednesfield at the 2015 election.
MP Emma Reynolds held her Wolverhampton North East parliamentary seat and local Councillors in Wednesfield North (Rita Potter), South (Bhupinder Gakhal), Fallings Park (Valerie Evans) and Heath Town (Milkinder Jaspal) all held their seats.
