Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a man was found at an address in Blackwood Avenue, Wednesfield yesterday morning (Sunday 11 October).
Officers were called to the address at 5.50am where the body of a 42-year-old man was found.
A post mortem will take place in due course to establish the cause of death.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is helping police with their enquiries.
Detective Inspector Martin Slevin from Force CID, who is leading the investigation, said: “I would appeal for anyone who saw anything suspicious in Blackwood Avenue, Wednesfield, between midnight and 6am to contact me or one of the team.”
