Wednesfield 2015 Election Results

2015 Election Results for Wednesfield North & South, Fallings Park, Heath Town and Wolverhampton North East.

Despite taking a battering nationally and losing their leader Ed Miliband, it was a strong result for the Labour party in Wednesfield at the 2015 election.

MP Emma Reynolds held her Wolverhampton North East parliamentary seat and local Councillors in Wednesfield North (Rita Potter), South (Bhupinder Gakhal), Fallings Park (Valerie Evans) and Heath Town (Milkinder Jaspal) all held their seats.

Labour – Emma Reynolds – 15,669 votes (Elected) HOLD
Conservative – Darren Henry – 10,174 votes
UKIP – Star Etheridge – 6,524 votes
Lib Dem – Ian Jenkins – 935 votes
Green – Becky Cooper – 701 votes

Wednesfield South (Council Candidates) – turnout 60%

Conservative – Hazel Keirle – 1,598  votes
Labour – Bhupinder Gakhal – 2,176 votes (Elected) HOLD
Green – Jackie Brown – 121 votes
Lib Dem – Alan Bamber – 106 votes
UKIP – Ian Harper – 1,090 votes
Independent – Kevin Bourne – 38 votes

Wednesfield North (Council Candidates) – turnout 59%

Labour – Rita Potter – 2,231 votes (Elected) HOLD
Green – Lee Harris – 144 votes
UKIP – Lindsay Beddows – 1,252 votes
Conservative – Neil Mcleod – 1,559 votes

Fallings Park (Council Candidates) – turnout 55%

Conservative – John Lee – 1,502 votes
UKIP – Ben Forrest – 1,059 votes
Labour – Valerie Evans – 2,449 votes  (Elected) HOLD

Heath Town (Council Candidates) – turnout 48%

UKIP – Mel Cooper – 839 votes
Labour – Milkinderpal Jaspal – 2,447 votes  (Elected) HOLD
Conservative – Fortune Sibanda – 799 votes
