Woodend CA Meeting and Bulb Plant

Woodend CA are looking for volunteers to help plant bulbs to celebrate the Queen’s 60th year on the throne.

To celebrate the Queens 60th year on the throne Woodend Community Association in partnership with Wolverhampton City Council are organising the planting of thousands of daffodil bulbs in the shape of a 60 that should bloom in time for the celebration. If you would like to take part in this celebration and volunteer to help plant the bulbs please attend:

The Back Field (at the back of Orchard, Woodend and Bellamy Road) on Wednesday 9th November 2011, between 10am and 12 noon.

Next community meeting

The next Woodend Community Association meeting takes place on Tuesday 15th November, 2011 at the Braybrook Centre from 6:30pm. (school next to Bellamy Lane Field—entrance off Bellamy Lane)
