Teenagers rally to support friend

A group of local young men have been hard at work raising money for Birmingham Children’s hospital while at the same time supporting their 15 year old friend , Sullivan, who has had to undergo surgery to have a large tumour removed from his head.

On Sunday 16th February the lads (Sullivan included) held a charity head shaving event at The True Briton pub in Ashmore Park.

Louise Harriman sent WV11.co.uk these pictures from the fundraising event, along with this message:

“We had an amazing day on Sunday, thank you to all who made it an amazing day and to everyone who donated their time and money, but especially to all the lads who shaved their heads, 27 in total!

“We raised an amazing £911.27 on the day and people can still donate to our giving site.

“We would all like to wish Sullivan all the best for his operation”

If you’d like to donate, please visit the group’s donation page.
