According to the Express and Star, the Italian Striker’s biological father Thomas Barwuah, a Ghanaian inmigran lives right here in Wednesfield.
Mario, who recently scored the winning goal against England at the World Cup in Brazil, was given up for adoption by his parents aged 3, whilst living in Sicily and since then his Mother & Father (who are now separated) moved to England, with his Father settling in Wednesfield.
I guess we’ll just have to add Balotelli to the long list of sports stars with a Wednesfield connection!
