Express & Star Save Campaigning Paper Kids Jobs

Express and Star have stepped in to save local paper delivery kids jobs

Following on from yesterdays story about the campaigning paper kids – the Express and Star have stepped in to save their jobs!

Simon Archer of Wednesfield Magazine has just posted this in the comments of our post on Facebook:

“Message from Martin White at the Express & Star; The Express & Star has been in negotiations with the newsagent in question, and I can report that with immediate effect, the Express & Star will take responsibility for all their existing Express & Star delivered customers. The other good news is, we intend to re- employ all the previous news deliverers!

However, we need a bit of help from the local community, as we need them to get in-touch with us ASAP, as the papers need to out tonight! Your contact number is 01902 313131 – Just say you were one of the previous news deliverers, they will take your details and we’ll contact you.”

We’ve shared this with our Facebook followers and already parents and young people alike are reporting a successful outcome – so if you were one of the campaigning paper kids give the Express and Star a call on the above number now!
