Wednesfield Medical Centre set to shut

Wednesfield Medical Centre on Neachells Lane is facing closure after a number of blunders have seen two doctors banned from overseeing immunisations by the General Medical Council (GMC).

Whilst the majority of the mistakes appear to have taken place at the Bushbury Medical Centre, both centres which are run by Mrs Valli Grandhi and Dr Jagadish Chandra Grandhi and have more than 4,600 patients on their books are set to shut.

Patients have been sent letters  by Wolverhampton Primary Care Trust telling them to seek GP care at other surgeries in the area.

Does this closure affect you? If so, let us know your thoughts in the comments. See our resources page for a full list of GP’s surgeries in WV11.
